We have a team of extremely capable specialist engineers, each of whom share Jonathan's passion for old cars and exacting standards.
Services
Jonathan Wood Ltd specialise in the restoration and maintenance of vintage and veteran cars.
We are particularly well known for our work with Silver Ghosts but equally enjoy working on many other fine examples of historic motor vehicles.
Renowned for our thoroughness and highly detailed work, we believe in restoring rather than renewing, and whenever possible we conserve rather than restore.
It is this philosophy which ensures a car remains correct and original, even following major works or a restoration.

We are fortunate to work on a broad and varied range of cars, many of which have remarkable stories behind them.
An important and fascinating part of restoration is the research needed to ensure authenticity and to appreciate elements and finishes which require conservation.
Tracing and understanding a car's history can be hugely important to achieve this.
Below is a brief selection of cars we have worked on embracing this ethos.
We are lucky enough to possess original period photographs of these cars, giving us the rare opportunity to compare them to current photographs.
