Tamar Caravan Centre

Visited today to seek help with an inflatable awning. Currently in our touring caravan on a site near Plymouth. The guy at the desk could not have been more helpful. We managed to identify the problem and our awning is now fixed. I highly recommend Tamar and we looked around the accessories shop and made other purchases. Thank you Tamar and the guy who helped us. We failed to ask his name unfortunately but he went above and beyond

Excellent service from Tamar Caravan Centre. We needed a caravan urgently, saw Ian at Tamar on Friday, he showed us a good selection, wee went back again and decided on one on Saturday. The caravan was serviced on Monday and valeted on Tuesday and delivered to site on Wednesday. Ian set it up for us and explained how everything worked. Absolutely first class service.

From first time I went into the showroom to look at caravans all the staff in every department were very courteous and helpful and were able to answer any questions I had and helped me to choose the right caravan for my needs. I would recommend Tamar Caravans to anyone, I don't think you could improve on the service you get anywhere else.

Our 2nd Caravan from Tamar and the service yet again was exceptional. Dorian did such a good job in supporting us through the sale, he is an expert and we felt no pressure. Ian, Matt and Phil were also a great help on the day when I picked up the Caravan. Nothing was too much trouble and Ian even sorted out at the very last minute a touring cover which au forgot. The customer service is exceptional and I would definitely recommend them. The after sales is also exceptional and you can trust them.

I managed to break the toilet in our caravan. but no need to stress because I rang the Tamar team and they had everything I needed to fix it. Whilst we were there we very nearly ended up buying a new caravan as well because the sales man was the last like a salesman I've ever known - he was knowledgeable, passionate, kind - but he wasn't foisting anything on us. If we'd had the 63k to hand. he'd have had it! We'll definitely be back when the time is right to replace our van in a few years.

Went to find out about a Dometic Awning. Minefield. So much I didn't know. Richard the shop manager was on hand to help. Answering all my questions and sorting out all the details. Very helpful. This is our first purchase of a caravan and I could not have visited a better caravan centre. Everyone I have met have been so helpful and friendly. The support and guidance we have been given to purchase our new van and suitable equipment has been amazing. They are there at the end of the phone and will help you with silly questions, as we are newbies.

We just purchased our very first touring caravan, a dealer special Mayflower 400. Had a fantastic experience with Dorian who has helped with every aspect of the process from choosing the right van for us, to insurance, advice on kit, servicing and most importantly working through every spec of the caravan so that we have confidence to get out and use it. Dorian was super patient and great company.

The team have been extremely professional and quick to deal some difficulties we experienced with the electronics on our tow bar whilst we waited, and so there was no hesitation in booking our next service with them. Thank you Jason. It's a large financial commitment and a lifestyle choice that can take years to achieve so it was reassuring to deal such a great and understanding team.

We purchased a VW camper in April, when we collected they pointed out an issue with the roof seal, we were told it was on order and they would contact us when it arrived. After a month I rang them. Anyway long story short it was fitted yesterday. We had discovered the water pump was also not working, this was also repaired yesterday. After myself being concerned and upset, yesterday they went above and beyond to correct all my concerns and carry out the work needed so we are able to use the van. I want to say a massive thank you to Jason in servicing and Matt for going through bits with us, we had forgotten how to do. You both helped us.

Had our handover today of our Swift Challenger caravan. Our sales person was Dorian. What a brilliant handover going into absolutely every detail about the caravan. The caravan was much better than I remember when we decided to buy. Dorian was a really decent sales guy, never pushy just straight up straight and honest. He was also there to be our personal shopping assistant helping to carry and load our car. Would highly recommend Tamar Caravans and Dorian to help you with your purchase. We have never owned a touring caravan are super happy with our new tourer, thank you.

Just can't fault this place. Such wonderful, friendly people from the sales team, to the service, they are brilliant and really take care of you. Dorian sold us our first caravan, a Coachman, and went through everything step by step with us. They even delivered it for us as we had a issue with our electrics and can't tow. You really can't go wrong with this place. We are looking forward to many, many adventures in 'Cora'.

I have just purchased our first used caravan that looked absolutely amazing when we went to collect it. The caravan has gone through an amazing makeover and is now ready to put on a season pitch. All used caravans come with 12 month's warranty from collection that provides piece of mind. Fantastic service! We recently purchased our caravan from Tamar Caravan Centre and the whole team were really helpful. Particularly Dorian who was amazing from start to finish. On handover day we even had a welcome sign for us outside the caravan and everything inside was immaculate! Dorian talked us through how all the essentials worked and nothing was too much trouble for him.

The service at Tamar is outstanding. The whole sale process was managed brilliantly by Dorian & Kate. We wanted some items from the shop, they picked & had them ready for us at the handover. The handover was very thorough & real care was taken. The buying of our caravan was the best buying experience we've ever had. Very friendly & knowledgeable, I couldn't recommend Tamar highly enough.

Just purchased our second caravan from Tamar caravans. Mainly dealing with Ian and Dorian. Excellent service throughout, fair and efficient. Handover to our new van done expertly by Dorian who has a very customer oriented, friendly manner. We have used Tamar for many years and have always found them to be knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Dorian was fantastic during the whole process. We settled quickly into our caravan with ease from the good handover. The whole team at Tamar are excellent, I have only mainly dealt with Dorian, Phil and Kate, but I know all else who work there, behind the scenes also, are excellent to deal with.

We purchased our caravan from Tamar Caravan Centre in November 2022. We were very pleased by the way that the salesman Dorian treated us with no pressure applied to view or buy a caravan. We received a warm friendly welcome and were show around the caravans at our pace without being rushed. Dorian was very helpful and answered any questions we had.

Since collecting our caravan we have unfortunately had one or two minor faults developed which were repaired/replaced under warranty, which was undertaken quickly and professionally by the staff at Tamar Caravans. I have found the staff there to always be polite, friendly and professional. The centre also has a very well stocked shop full of caravan, motorhome accessories which have been at very reasonable prices, They have even ordered items in for me which are not normally stocked.

Excellent service & flexibility, thank you Tamar. I used Tamar to fit a tow bar, I had to reschedule 3 times, the last time when I was actually onsite and hadn't realized it was a 4h job that clashed with a business meeting. When they eventually fitted they did everything perfectly with a good briefing afterwards. My experience was extremely positive, the staff made a real effort to help. Also a well organized and impressive facility.

Tamar Caravan Centre have only gone done it again. Superb service with super superb customer service. Our Swift Mayflower 580 Caravan has just had her first service at Tamar Caravan Centre. From the moment we dropped her off and left in the very capable hands of the lovely Naomi, to the point we collected her today from the equally capable and very friendly Jason, everything has just been smooth, effortless and just right.

The service engineer Phill Goodall was very thorough and sorted a few little teething issues. Communication was excellent with updates. Nothing seems to be to much trouble. We even got to see the awesome Ian who was a key factor of why purchased our Mayflower a year ago from Tamar Caravan Centre. Seriously. Tamar Caravan Centre are absolutely amazing.100% recommend. we won't go anywhere else!
